It’s a quick and easy meal, but to be honest, I really crave it sometimes when I want a no fuss and minimal ingredient lunch. This dish can be made in 15 minutes or less and is a guaranteed winner!
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 pack of chicken wings
1 tsp ginger (optional)
1 tsp oil
1. Heat a pan up on medium heat. Once the pan is warm, add in 1 tsp of oil. When oil is warm, brown chicken wings on both sides for a few minutes.
2. After chicken is browned, pour in coke and 2 tbsp of soy sauce. Put a lid on the pan and let chicken cook for another 3-4 minutes.
3. Take off the lid and flip chicken wings. Use a spoon to baste chicken wings and continue to cook until sauce dilutes to a saucey consistency.
4. Serve chicken immediately. Enjoy!
Instead of rock sugar to be used as a sweetener to balance out savory meals, coca cola is subbed in to give the chicken wings a unique sweet flavor. The simple combination of soy sauce and coke is all you need to make this delicious sauce. Hope you enjoy this dish!
