Cajun Seafood Boil

While I have never had the pleasure of visiting Louisiana, I can say that I am a huge fan of cajun food. Crawfish and shrimp boils, hushpuppies, gumbo, jambalaya, and french silk pie oh my! When my husband and I first started dating, cajun shrimp was one of our favorite dinners to share together. We used to be able to eat 3lbs just between the two of us! Ok, more like just me. And as you can probably guess, over time, I just HAD to learn how to make it myself!

When I first researched how to make this recipe, I was surprised to find that I already had a majority of the ingredients, but everyone’s taste varies, so I adjusted it to make it my own. And when you perfect the sauce, oh boy. You can slather it on everything! Rice, noodles, and corn! You can bet my husband loves this dish. An option is to make it spicy, if you enjoy the heat. I like to add 1 thai chili, but feel free to add as many red peppers as you want to up your level of spiciness. I really hope you enjoy this dish! If you do, feel free to let me know in the comments below!
